Water reserves fall to lowest level in 30 years

Written by on 18 October 2022

Water reserves have fallen to their lowest level in almost three decades, according to the latest data released by the Government this week.

Current drinking water capacity stands at around 27.4%, a drop of 0.2% compared to last week.

A drop in annual rainfall and an increase in consumption is being blamed for the decrease in water supplies.
