PowerOn Gold Spain tops international table for number of blue flag beaches

Spain has again come top of the international table for the number of blue flag beaches.
In total 627 beaches have reached the standard in water cleanliness and services available.
The Valencian Community and Andalusia have the highest number of flags, with 627 beaches, 97 harbours being awarded the prestigious flags.
Of all the worldwide beaches in the scheme, 15% of those are in Spain.
