Sanchez to discuss Ukraine Russia peace process in China

Prime Minster Pedro Sanchez is to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping this week, where he is expected to tell the Chinese leader that Ukraine will decide on any foundations of a peace plan.

Mr. Sanchez called China a “top-tier global actor” during a press conference in Brussels last week, before confirming he would be meeting Xi during his planned viist to China this week.

He also offered Spain to be a Ukrainian interlocutor in discussions between China and Russia.

The prime minister is due to meet the Chinese President this Saturday.
