Operation Trueca: Guardia Civil Arrests Four in National Weapons Trafficking Ring

Guardia Civil have arrested four people in Malaga and Valencia on suspicion of trafficking various weapons, including military-grade firearms.

The gang were detained as part of Operation Trueca.

Officers discovered the gang were selling weapons nationwide using encrypted messages which police had gained access to.

During the raids a handgun with ammunition, high-capacity magazines, over 86,000 euros in cash, luxury jewellery, and numerous mobile phones were confiscated.

Those detained face charges of illegal arms trafficking, criminal organisation membership, and illicit weapons possession.
