British fugitive arrested on the Costa del Sol

One of the UK’s most-wanted fugitives has been arrested while riding an e-bike in Andalucia.

Poicia Nacional, working with officers from the UK’s National Crime Agency, detained 29-year-old Dean Garforth in Nueva Andalucia, Marbella.

Garforth is wanted in the UK for alleged involvement in an organised crime group (OCG) supplying cocaine and cannabis as well as being involved in trading firearms and ammunition.

Mr Garforth is currently awiting an extradition hearing. He is the sixth fugitive to be arrested since the start of a NCA campaign at the start of the year.
