Spanish police arrest man for touching reporter’s bottom while live on air

A man in Madrid has been arrested for sexually assaulting a journalist on live TV.

The reporter, Isa Balado, was reporting on a robbery when the man approached her from behind and touched her bottom.

Balado confronted the man and asked him to leave, but he lingered in the street before approaching her again.

Following the incident, Police said in a social media message that a man had been arrested for sexually assaulting a reporter live on air.

Equality Minister Irene Montero sent her support to Ms Balado whilst Labour Minister Yolanda Diaz went on to say the incident should not go unpunished.
