A five-month-old baby has died and five others were injured, two critically, following a multi-pedestrian accident on Monday afternoon on Lanzarote.

Emergency services were called to the accident which was reported at the junction of Avenida Archipiélago with Calle Lanzarote in Playa Blanca.
