PowerOn Gold Spanish rocket blasts into Spain and the record books

Spanish company PLD Space has successfully launched its reusable Miura-1 rocket from a site in southwest Spain, marking the first fully private rocket launch in Europe.
The rocket, named after a breed of fighting bull, has a one hundred kilogram cargo capacity and reached an altitude of forty-six kilometers during the three hundred and six-second flight.
This launch highlights Europe’s focus on sending small satellites into space, with competing companies in Scotland, Sweden, and Germany also entering the race.
