Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has met with the President of Ukraine, Volodímir Zelenski, to offer his support to the country and announce a new military aid package.

Mr Sanchez was also joined by the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, on their visit to the city of Borodianka, near Kyiv, as part of the ongoing diplomatic response to the Russian invasion.
It was also confirmed that Spain will be sending war crimes experts to the International Criminal Court.

Over 200 tonnes of military aid is expected to be sent in the coming days to the country.
The visit came as tensions continue to rise between Catalan independence parties and the Government.

Yesterday government minister Isabel Rodríguez said it was not the time to attempt to destabilise the government.
On Wednesday the regional president of Catalonia warned his party would withdraw support for the coalition government in Madrid over allegations of political espionage.
