Landmark moment as over 100,000 recover from Coronavirus

Over 100,000 people in Spain have been confirmed as no longer testing positive for the the coronavirus, in a significant landmark announced yesterday afternoon.
The figure means that just under half of all cases have now been confirmed as clear of the virus which causes COVID-19.
Meanwhile the daily death rate has risen slightly. The health ministry said 331 more people have died with coronavirus, bringing the total to 23,521.

The number of fatalities is an increase on 288 the day before but is much lower than in previous weeks.
