Government announces summer youth transport scheme

The government approved major summer travel discounts for young people.

Ministers signed off the fourth edition of the Youth Summer Programme, offering reductions of up to ninety percent on bus and train travel between July and September.

The scheme applies to people aged eighteen to thirty with Spanish nationality or legal residence.

Discounts cover domestic bus and rail services, as well as Interrail passes for travel across Europe.

Registration will open in the coming days on the Ministry of Transport website.
