Funeral Held For 13 Victims Of Nightclub Fire In Murcia

A funeral service has been held for the thirteen victims of the Teatro nightclub fire in Murcia at the city’s Cathedral.

Approximately three hundred people – including family members and various local dignitaries – attended the memorial mass which was led by the Bishop of Cartagena – José Manuel Lorca.

The service took place over two weeks since the worst nightclub fire in over 40-years.

The bishop emphasized the significance of silence and respect, and the choir performed songs during the mass.

At the end, the bishop mentioned the names of the deceased and presented a white rose to their loved ones, with local authorities offering their condolences to the families.
