PowerOn Gold Tourism accounts for nearly a quarter of all jobs

The tourism sector in Spain created over 180,000 new jobs in the summer months, nearly a quarter of all new hires in the period.
The number of workers in tourism exceeded three million in the second quarter of twenty twenty-three, a five point five percent increase from the same period last year.
Catalonia, Madrid, the Valencian Community, and the Canary Islands reported having the highest number of employees in the tourism sector.
