PowerOn Gold Passenger on Tenerife flight dies after falling ill

A passenger who was taken ill on a flight from Tenerife to Manchester has died, Jet2 has confirmed.
Flight LS756 diverted to Newquay on Sunday evening after a female passenger collapsed whilst suffering with pain. Cabin crew treated the woman with a defibrilator and performed CPR whilst the aircraft made it’s descent.
Emergency services were awaiting the aircraft upon landing, who ferried the woman to a nearby hospital.
However the airline confirmed yesterday that the passenger had passed away.
