Two trains collide in Málaga, injuring 13 passengers

13 people have been injured after two trains collided in El Chorro-Caminito del Rey station in Malaga.

The cause of the low-speed collision is remains unknown but officials are investigating how the two trains entered the same narrow point of track at the same time.

Emergency services were called on Saturday night shortly after 9.30 to reports of a collision, which impacted nearly 250 passengers.

Most of those who suffered injuries were treated at the scene, with two taken to the Valle del Guadalhorce hospital.

A full investigation into the cause of the crash has been launched.
