Two Britons make Queens New Years Honours list

Two Britons who live in Spain have made the Queens New Year’s honors list.

Lloyd Milen – The British Consul General for Catalonia, Andorra, Aragon and Balearic Islands – was awarded the MBE for his services to British Nationals in Spain. In a social media post, Mr Milen said he was amazed to see his work being recognised by the Queen.

District Community Support Coordinator for the Royal British Legion in the north of Spain – Pamela Twissell-Cross has also been awarded the Member of the Order of the British Empire for her work in services to British Nationals overseas.
