Written by on 18 October 2026
Policía Nacional has arrested two young men in Málaga and Murcia over suspected false bomb threats against two Spanish airports.
Investigators say the suspects allegedly used another person’s identity to register for an internet calling service, disguised their telephone numbers and used artificial intelligence to alter their voices.
One of the calls triggered airport security procedures and temporarily disrupted normal operations.
Police are investigating whether others were involved.
