Sailboat carrying 1.5 tonnes of cocaine discovered in Spanish waters

Policia Nacional and the Spanish Navy intercepted a sailboat carrying one thousand five hundred kilos of cocaine bound for Spain.

In an operation working with British, American, and Italian authorities, police uncovered the gang and their plan to bring drugs into Europe from South America.

The investigation began in twenty twenty-two after police discovered a trafficking gang planning to smuggle cocaine through Spain.

The suspects sailed to Brazil from Tenerife, then loaded the cocaine onto the sailboat and set sail from Spain, but were apprehended in Spanish waters and arrested.
