PowerOn Gold Police arrest woman in connection with abandoned baby

Policia Nacional have arrested a 35-year-old woman in connection with the discovery of an abandoned newborn baby.
The infant was discovered wrapped in several layers of clothing and inside an open bag in a doorway in Orihuela ten days ago.
Officers conducted door to door enquiries before discovering the mother and providing her medical help.
The baby is understood to be fit and healthy despite the incident.
