PowerOn Gold OECD lowers growth forecast for Spanish GDP in 2024

The OECD has lowered its growth forecast for Spain’s Gross Domestic Product in for next year to one point four percent due to higher interest rates and lower private consumption.
The forecast for Spain’s GDP growth in this year currently stands at two point four percent, the highest among eurozone countries.
The OECD recommends a stronger budget adjustment to control public debt and advises increased investment in research and development to reduce regional disparities.
