Irish Tourist Dies After Jumping into Guadalquivir River in Seville

A 58-year-old Irish tourist has died after jumping into the Guadalquivir River in Seville.
The incident took place on Isabel II Bridge, also known as Triana Bridge.
Witnesses immediately called for help, and both the police and firefighters swiftly responded to the emergency.
Despite their efforts, the tourist could not be revived and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are currently not treating the death as suspicious and have informed the tourist’s family with the assistance of consular officials.
The incident happened on the same day that another person lost their life jumping from the same bridge.
