Failure to form government could cause collapse of Catalan talks – PSOE’s José Luis Ábalos says

General secretary of PSOE, José Luis Ábalos, has said that if the country fails to vote in favour of the investiture of the party leader – Pedro Sanchez – as Prime Minister, there could be repercussions for the political situation in Catalonia.
In an interview over the weekend, Mr Ábalos said that a failure to secure the investiture of Mr. Sanchez would more than likely mean that dialogue over the political situation in Catalonia would come to an end.
PSOE and separatists party the ERC have been holding talks recently following on from last months General Election.
