PowerOn Gold European Commission approves nationwide broadband upgrade

The European Commission has approved 400 million euros of public support to build very high-speed broadband networks across the country.
The Commission, which approved the proposal after finding no market issues, saying the scheme will benefit consumers and businesses in areas with poor internet connections.
Brussels approved the measure in accordance with the state aid rules of the European Union.
