PowerOn Gold Covid cases reaches highest daily figure since start of pandemic

A number of regions across Spain have recoreded their highest covid infection rates since the start of the pandemic.
Alongside infections, the death rate of people who have previously tested positive for the coronavirus has also risen to a figure last seen in September 2021.
The incidence rate now stands at 3,127 cases per 100,000 people.
Yesterday 179,125 cases were recorded nationwide, with a further 125 covid related deaths.
The news came as it was confirmed over 60% of those aged above 40 have now received their booster shot.
