PowerOn Gold Constitutional court rejects Catalan separatists appeal

The Constitutional Court has rejected an appeal by Catalan sepratist leaders Oriol Junqueras and Raül Romeva over their sentences for taking part in the contested independence referendum of 2017.
Both were jailed on charges of sedition and embezzlement for their actions during the controversial vote.
The ruling comes after the pair were part of a group who received a partial pardon from the Government last June and were freed from prison.
