PowerOn Gold Animal abandonment in Spain increases during the festive season

According to Spanish animal charity Fundación Affinity, over twenty-four thousand pets were abandoned in Spain each month last year.
Around thirty percent of pets given as gifts during the festive season end up abandoned due to lack of time and resources.
Experts recommend adoption as a better option.
In their annual update, the charity reminded people that if you find an abandoned animal, contact the Guardia Civil or the Local Police.
