Written by on 31 October 2023
The Supreme Court has ruled that business owners will not be compensated for damages caused by pandemic restrictions during the state of alarm.
The court stated that the measures taken by the government were necessary and proportionate, and that the damages suffered by the hospitality industry were not illegal.
This ruling will set a precedent for the remaining one thousand similar cases, which will be evaluated individually by the Supreme Court.
