Spain expecting to reopen borders from July – Foreign Ministry
Written by sjames on 13 May 2020
The Foreign Ministry has said that Spain is preparing to reopen its borders from early July as the country continues to adapt to its “new normal”.
However British visitors may have an extended wait before being able to travel there for holidays as access will be initially for Schengen countries only.
It is also understood that the Spanish Government is currently studying approaches that will allow tourism to restart safely, these include medical testing and sp called “sanitary corridors” – where tourists from one country are allowed to stay in resorts.
