PowerOn Gold Sewage to be tested in effort to forecast coronavirus

Waste water in the region is to be scanned over the coming months to monitor the evolution of the pandemic.
In a pioneering study, waste water will be tested for traces of the coronavirus as it arrives at sewage treatment plants.
Alicante, Castellón and Elche will be the first sites to have the system introduced, with it expanding across the region in the coming weeks.
