Written by on 28 October 2021
The Constitutional Court has declared the second state of alarm unconstitutional.
In a case submitted by far-right party Vox, they questioned the second Coronavirus lockdown under constitutional law.
Judges in the court voted six to four stating that the six month extension to restrictions was “Unreasonable and unfounded”.
Earlier this month the government announced it was returning fines imposed during the first lockdown.
