Remaining covid entry restrictions lifted in time for holidays

All remaining coronavirus entry restrictions have been lifted, it was confirmed on Friday.

Measures including showing proof of vaccination have been removed, just in time for many of the school half term periods.

Until last week, Spain was the only country in the European Union that had maintained a number of entry requirements.

The change in rules means that those arriving into Spain will no longer require a covid vaccinaction certificate or proof of recovery from previous infection.

In their latest update however, requirements to wear masks are still in place in medical settings and also on public transport including busses, trains and aircraft.
