INTERPOL issues alert over criminal gangs using delivery drivers

INTERPOL has issued an alert after it discovered that criminal gangs in a number of countries – including Spain – were using food delivery services to transport drugs around the country due to the lockdown restrictions in place .
In an update issued yesterday, the global policing body said it had reports from Spain, Ireland, Malaysia and the United Kingdom of criminal gangs using delivery drivers to move and deliver drugs like cocaine, marijuana, ketemine and ecstasy.

Last month Policia Nacional arrested seven people in Alicante and Valencia who were caught delivering cocaine and marijuana by bicycle, motorcycle, and car.
