PowerOn Gold Coronavirus: ERTE scheme extended until February 2022

The government has approved the extension of the ERTE furlough scheme until the end of February next year.
In an update from Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz, she confirmed that the executive had approved plans to extend the scheme for workers whos employment had been affected by the coronavirus pandemic until the 28th February.
The latest data shows just over a quarter of a million people are currently on the scheme. At the height of the pandemic 3.6 million people were in the scheme.
