PowerOn Gold Coronavirus: 140 cases of deaths in care homes remain under investigation

The Prosecutor’s Office has said that it currently has 140 investigations ongoing into deaths from Covid-19 in care homes.
Investigations into the treatment of both the elderly and also those with disabilities are understood to be part of the criminal investigation.
185 civil proceedings are also being carried out alongside the judicial investigations.
