PowerOn Gold BREAKING: Sanchez to ask for extension to state of emergency

Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has said he will ask the Spanish Parliament to approve an extension of the state of emergency until the 26th April.
Sanchez made the announcement in a statement issued today from the Moncloa.
The extension request comes as the Coronavirus pandemic leaves 11,814 dead and more than 124,736 people infected with the virus.
