Another landmark passed as vaccination rates continue to rise

Two thirds of the Spanish population have now completed the full dose of the coronavirus vaccine, it was confirmed this week.

31.4 million people – 66.27% – have recieved their second dose of the vaccine, whilst 35.6 million – 75.2% have had at least one jab.

After concerns over vaccine uptake slowing, last weekend saw over half a million doses administered, after the vaccination window was opened to those aged over 12.

Across the Canary Islands, 64% have been fully vaccinated, with 73% partially whist in the Valencian community, 64% have been fully vaccinated, with 76% partially.
