Written by on April 28, 2021
The Canarian Government has announced that bookings for holidays in the archipelago from Dutch visitors has reached 50% already.
This summer season will see 111,000 seats on flights from the Netherlands to the islands, just under half of the pre-pandemic figure of 230,000.
In yesterday’s meeting between the islands Minister for Tourism – Yaiza Castilla – and the Dutch ambassador to Spain – Jan Versteeg, discussions turned to potential increases in visitor numbers as the countrys vaccination drive continues to increase.
Currently only flights from Transavia and Corendon are scheduled, with Ryanair yet to announce their full summer schedule.
