Fully vaccinated adults pass 50% mark of Spanish population

The total number of Spaniards and residents who have received their full vaccination has passed the half way mark it was confirmed yesterday by the Ministry of Health.

24 million people are now fully vaccinated in Spain, with 51.2 million doses of Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Janssen vaccines administered.

Pfizer was the most widespread vaccine, with 36 million doses administered, whilst AstraZeneca has a total of 9 million doses given. 5.2 million people have been given the Moderna inoculation, and 2.4 million the single dose Janssen.
