The Valencian Community has announced that it will be increasing the vaccination rate for those aged 20 to 29 this week, in an effort to bring infection rates down.
Generalitat president Ximo Puig confirmed that health workers within that age group will be vaccinated this week, with the general population in that age range vaccinated from next week.
He also confirmed that meetings are shortly to begin to plan vaccination for those aged 12 – 18 years of age.
Currently 65% of the population has received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
