Winds in excess of 70 km/h are forecast for much of the archipelago, resulting in rough seas and high waves. People are being advised not to bathe in the sea, and to
be cautious in exposed areas.
It’s hoped that the weather will not impact on the Puerto del Carmen carnival parade that is taking place on Saturday.
