Tourist associations discuss steps after Thomas Cook collapse

Local authorities and tourism associations in the Canaries have met to discuss the next steps after the collapse of Thomas Cook.
The Mayor of Adeje, José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga, the tourism councillor Adolfo Alonso Ferrera and Jorge Marichal, president of Ashotel met with travel reps to discuss what was needed to reduce current and future concerns.
The meeting was informed that additional capacity has already been secured from other travel operators, something of vital importance according to Jorge Marichal.
