Thousands take part in Tenerife’s Walk for Life

Thousands of people took part in this years Walk for Life, raising essential funding for breast cancer research, which was held in Adeje yesterday.

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the walk saw people head from Siam Park to the Golden Mile in Playa de las Américas.

This was the first year that the local charity has been part of an international scheme, having joined the Think Pink Europe network which has representatives in 19 countries.

Last year raised over €35,000 to help fight breast cancer, it is hoped this year that record is broken.
