Ryanair has confirmed that it will be closing three bases in the Canaries in the coming months, putting nearly 500 jobs at risk.
The airline confirmed that bases will be cut or closed this winter due to the grounding of the Boeing 737 MAX jets.
Ryanair confirmed the closures to the USO union this week. Bases in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Tenerife South and Lanzarote will close, as well as a base in Girona in Catalonia.
