Family of missing Irishman informed of discovery of body

Family members of a missing Irishman who disappeared in Tenerife two years ago have been informed of the discovery of remains on the island.

Relatives of Peter Wilson, a father-of-two from Co. Westmeath, were informed of the news by Gardaí in Ireland. The body has yet to be formally identified.

He went missing in March 2019 after visiting the island with a friend and was last spotted heading to Playa de las Americas.
