Calima warnings issued for Canary Islands

Weather warnings have been issued for the Canary Islands for today and into the week as a calima is due to arrive across the archipelago.

Yellow weather warnings have been issued for Lanzarote and Fuerteventura today for dust and strong winds, with gusts of up to 70km/h expected in the area today.

Tomorrow see’s the entire region placed under a yellow weather warning for dust, with limited visibility of up to 3000 metres and strong winds expected across much of the region.
