AENA has a record breaking 2019

National airport operator AENA has reported a 4.4% increase in passenger numbers last year, the busiest year in their history.
275.2 million passengers passed through their terminals in 2019, with 188.8 million people making international flights.
2.36 million aircraft movements were also reported, an increase of 2.6%.
Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport saw the highest passenger numbers, followed by Barcelona-El Prat and then Palma de Mallorca.
Tenerife South and Gran Canaria airports, and Alicante-Elche airport were one of the remaining four to have over 10 million passengers each last year.
