Negotiations between PSOE and Podemos have failed to come to a conclusion, as the chance of another General Election increases.
If the Congress of Deputies does not vote in PSOE leader Pedro Sanchez as prime minister by Sept. 23, there will be a new parliamentary election on Nov. 10.
Disagreements over cabinet positions, and a formal coalition agreement, are understood to be the main sticking points in this weeks negotiations.
PSOE won the April General Election, but failed to secure a majority.
