Written by webmaster on March 13, 2019
Proposals to extend paternity leave are to face scrutiny from the Board of Congress today, who will decide if the law to extend leave will gain Royal Decree.
Ciudadanos, with the support of the PP have raised concerns over the constitutional legality of the policy, which PSOE voted through ahead of the closure of Parliament due to the snap General Election.
The appeal will determine whether the law passed would amend of change one of the countries Organic Laws on equality, without having an absolute majority in the Congress of Deputies.
