A large scale study published in the medical publication The Lancet[icon name=”external-link” class=”” unprefixed_class=””], has said that 5% of Spain’s population has developed antibodies to Covid-19 – saying so-called herd immunity to Covid-19 is “unachievable,”.
The study of over 60,000 people is the largest to date. The data matches other studies taken elsewhere such as in Geneva, Switzerland.
The peer-reviewed study began in April during the lockdown, and was conducted by leading government research and epidemiological agencies.
