Automotive sector suffers historic crash due to coronavirus

The Spanish Association of Automobile and Truck Manufacturers has said that vehicle production and sales in the country has fallen significantly since the start of the state of emergency.

50,000 fewer vehicles are being produced on the nation’s production lines since the 16th March.
Car sales are understood to have fallen by nearly 70% compared to last March.
Last month just under 38,000 new or second-hand vehicles were sold nationwide, their biggest crash in Spanish history.
